Digital Marketer - Hastings

Analytics, SEO, Content Marketing and Email Marketing Background

Working with both the Marketing Manager and Website Developer your role will be to manage and deliver digital marketing plans for existing and new clients. You will have a good understanding of all areas of digital marketing and how it can be applied to clients to improve their online returns.

The role will include:

  • Identify, discuss and plan opportunities with clients
  • Develop client project proposals and obtain sign off
  • Setup and manage PPC/SEO campaigns
  • Monitor and create reporting for individual clients
  • Manage the delivery of client projects
  • Build and maintain new client relationships
  • Maintain project management and CRM documentation
  • Researching, planning and delivering the Streeten marketing plan (including SEO, PPC and email marketing)

Key skills:

  • Thorough online marketing industry knowledge
  • A good technical understanding of digital marketing channels (facebook, twitter, linkedIn etc.)
  • A technical understanding of website tracking technologies
  • Proven relationship management skills Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Experience in planning and delivering projects SEO / PPC capabilities
  • Email marketing experience
  • Good understanding of website structuring and design

Website Designer - Hastings

Permanent/Full Time

A great opportunity to join a rapidly growing company and work across a wide range of websites with a variety of day-to-day tasks. We are looking to take on an enthusiastic and creative web designer to help keep our portfolio of websites up-to-date.

You will need to understand how to hand-code websites using CMSs such as WordPress, Drupal, Business Catalyst, Shopify etc. with e-commerce functionality where required. It's important that you understand the code that you produce and can de-bug it yourself if needed.

The websites you produce should use standards-compliant, valid and semantic HTML and CSS. You must understand how compliant web sites are created and to be able to hand-code designs as well as edit, amend and error-check existing content. 

An understanding of responsive design is essential.

Key Skills:

  • Natural creative design flair and enthusiasm for web design
  • HTML (xHTML Strict / HTML5) - excellent knowledge and experience required
  • CSS - excellent knowledge and experience required
  • Javascript - a decent working knowledge, a solid understanding of JQuery
  • A basic understanding of 'liquid' markup.
  • Photoshop - good skills required
  • PHP - at least enough so you can use includes. Using PHP and MySQL is a bonus
  • MySQL - not essential but basic knowledge a plus.

A good understanding of design is expected and you will need to deliver visuals accurately and efficiently, making layout decisions along the way to keep everything looking clean, smart and slick.

The work may also include:

  • Design and send company email newsletters
  • Develop website layouts/concepts
  • Optimising sites for better seo
